The Club is holding a Companion Show in conjunction with the 35th Championship Show this year, please download the Schedule and pass on to friends and relations. The Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze testing will also be done at the show – lots to do and look forward to.
There are just two weeks until postal entries close for the Club’s Championship Show – we’re having a Companion Show at the same time so please come along, bring all your dogs and join in the 35th anniversary celebrations.

The AGM was well attended and the four retiring members of the committee were voted back on for a further three year term and the committee welcome Cliff Ball who makes the committee up to full numbers.
As you may have seen Ann Millington has retired from the Breed Health and Genetics Sub Committee after 38 years, a presentation was made to her by the President at the AGM. Brian Pilmer is now BH&GSC Secretary and the Judges’ Sub Committee is now to be known as the Breed Education Sub Committee (BESC)
Clover, pictured below, has found herself a new home and we wish her and her new family all the best.

We enjoyed our day yesterday at Crufts, with some of our overseas members coming over.
The breed stand had many visitors with several people interested in becoming involved with the breed.
It was a good day yesterday for Anita and Summer, getting shortlisted in the group, with Anita and Carrick getting Best Puppy, Sue Tubby’s boy getting Best Veteran and Claudia Volkmer’s Denzel (handled by Ray) getting Reserve Best of Breed
Entries for the Club’s open show on 3rd March are all in now – there are 39 dogs with 48 entries.
Don’t forget to send your entry(ies) in for the Club photo competition – send to Alison by 7th April please. The committee will judge them at the meeting just before the AGM.
