The Irish Red and White Setter Club of GB Rescue Scheme is here to help any Irish Red and White Setter in Great Britain who may need support, care or a new home.
Dogs may come into rescue for many reasons, including changes in family circumstances, illness, bereavement, or because their previous home is no longer suitable. This is rarely the fault of the dog. Our aim is always to do what is best for the individual dog, with kindness, patience and respect for everyone involved.

Irish Red and White Setters are intelligent, affectionate and active dogs. Some rescue dogs have lived as family pets, while others may have had a more kennel based or working background. Each dog is assessed as an individual and we aim to match them with the right home.
A rescue dog may need time, reassurance, routine and unconditional love. For the right home, the reward can be enormous.
