The Breed Education Sub Committee is elected by the members at the Annual General Meeting.  The composition and mode of operation of the BESC is in accordace with the Code of Best Practice Guidelines laid down by the Kennel Club.

The Breed Education Co-Ordinator is Julien Barney and he can be contacted below.  When Seminars are organised information will be posted on this page and the Club Events page.

The judging list is compiled by the BESC and published regularly – the next update is planned for late 2025..  Any updates or queries relating to the Judging List should be directed to Ray McDonald

IMPORTANT NOTE: From 01 January 2026, ALL judges MUST be registered on the Kennel Club’s “Find a Judge” system at the appropriate level for the breed in order to be eligible to judge.

If you are not registered there, you cannot judge. The responsibility is YOURS. If you are asked to judge by any club you must meet the appropriate criteria AND also be listed on the KC “Find a Judge” system.
