Unexpectedly asked to take over this appointment from dear Jacqui, what a pleasure to be judging this lovely breed again. Small in number but quality a plenty.

1 Gardner Alenea Turning Tables Into Danwish The more collected of these two littermates today, he has such an easy long gait. He is refined in head without giving way to the desired width and balance, good length to rib. Has clear markings, important for the breed with just the right ratio of colour BP
2 Tattersall Alenea Pennine Way. Has a little more substance to his brother and a shade more compact. Lovely return to upper arm, well developed ribcage, firm level topline. Has a lovely eye and expression.

1 McDonald & Westwood Roanjora Cremant De Savoie Avec Eusanit A shade longer but is good on the move retaining his overall shape. Shoulder well laid back, well turned stifle. Good colour and markings.
2 Tait Talintyre Fomhar Reiver Attractive head balance, eye colour and shape. Good ribbing and short strong loin, a shade rounded over croup, moved out with drive. 3 Holgate Hodgehall Don't Stop Me Know with Rogansrock

1 Ward Roanjora Cremant De Lux Copperwhite This boy has really come on since I saw him as a puppy a couple of years ago. He has so many qualities that are important to this breed. His head has sufficient breadth of skull, moderate length to his mead giving correct balance. Neck is strong, good return to upper arm and lay of shoulder, good length to rib and strong in coupling. Stifles well turned with good width to second thigh. I have to say it irks me at times when handlers change, but I must say this boy coped well and moved around the ring with an easy long stride. 2 Hart Gillegrae So Berry Excited JW A young boy who has so much to like, his only lack is maturity, which in this breed should come more slowly and last, so patience is the word. He impresses with cleanness over neck and shoulder, chest deep with sufficient ribbing, good clean outline.

1 Garner SH CH Alenea Game Reserve With Danwish. You really need to look at this boy carefully, his marking could lead you to miss his overall balance. Like his head for balance and strength in muzzle, neck of good length set well into shoulder, chest deep and well sprung. He is so strong and powerful on the move, couldn't deny him the RCC and Best Veteran
2 Tattersall SH CH Carrick Shadow Dog At Alenea He is so well balanced in overall body proportions, cobby rather than racy as desired, good length to leg, tail well sat and carried. Not quite the reach on the move as winner.
3 Mapletoft Roanjora Tanqueray

PB (1,0) 1 Tattersall Alenea Summer Legacy. I really was taken with this puppy, she has a delightful head, flows from neck to firm topline over sound hindquarters. Immaturity makes her look a bit leggy at the moment. When she settled her stride was long and steady. Not heavily coloured, but I suspect that changes with maturity.

1 Jarvis Settersay Targaryen Lowden Liked her overall size and balance. Generally at the moment needs to develop in forechest and ribs. Sound on the move.

1 McDonald Roanjora Cremant D'Alsace JW Quite the family affair in more ways than one. Firstly she won this class due to her slightly taller frame and proportion. She has good depth to chest, elbows well under her body, strong in coupling and good finish to croup. She drove off well let down hocks and strong pasterns. Awarded her the Bitch CC and then in part 2 of the family run off, took BOB.
2 McDonald Roanjora Rioja Crianza Well deserved RCC, she is clean over neck and shoulder, lovely forehand and well ribbed.

1 Walker SC CH Zendarric It's A Kind Of Magic Within Wroxham Loved her body proportions, topline and finish to croup. Gentle turn to stifle, but made the most on the move with good footfall.
2 Sherratt & Blackwell Sherratt SH CH Alenea Holly Fern At Charnborough SGWC She is lovely to watch on the move, super carriage maintaining her topline
