Many thanks to the committee for the chance to award my first set of CCs in a breed that I have long admired. Thanks also to my two stewards, Ian & Sue for keeping the ring running smoothly. A really super quality entry throughout. The majority of exhibits were shown in really good, hard condition.

1 Tattersalls Sh Ch Carrick Shadow Dog at Alanea (Imp Pol) What a wonderful class to start the day. 1 was Very typical in outline, certainly not looking like a veteran. Head is balanced with good stop, well set ears. Neck is moderate and muscular and flows cleanly into shoulders. Super depth of body with well sprung rib. He has strength across the loin. Good rear quarters which are well muscled. He excels on the move with a good long stride. Really powers across the ring. Delighted to award him the CC.
2 Gardners Sh Ch Alanea Game Reserve with Danwish. Another quality veteran. So well made and a pleasure to go over. Striking outline that screams balance. Super well proportioned head with correct round eye giving a good expression. I liked his broad head and clean finish to muzzle. Super front assembly, he scores in forechest, chest is deep with elbows close to body. Forelegs straight with quality bone. Super topline. His rear is wide and powerful with enough rear angulation. Correct tailset. He moves with enthusiasm showing a long, easy stride. RCC

1 Harts Gilliegrae So Berry Excited JW. Lots to like about this youngster. At 17 months of age, obviously has lots of maturing still to do but everything is in the right place. I really liked his typical head and expression, masculine but not overdone. He has excellent oval bone and stands on good feet. Good bend of stifle which was well muscled. He is well co ordinated on the move and moves freely with drive.
2 Wilsons Gilliegrae Berry Dramatic. Litter brother to 1 and I believe his first show. Pleasing in head and expression. Ears well set. Good depth of chest and forechest. A little longer in body. Unfortunately, his movement was erratic and difficult to assess but hopefully his handler will continue with ringcraft and persevere.

1 O'Connors Coolfin Whiskey in The Jar at Mackney. Presents a very lean, typical outline. Head is masculine and broad. Forelegs straight with oval bone. Needs to drop slightly in chest Reasonable forequarters. Forelegs straight. Correct sloping paster s ns with neat feet. Level topline. Movement just slightly erratic.

1 ones Roanjora Cremant Bourgogne Intro Ex. Balanced, typical head. I liked his expression and has good eye shape. Ears well set. Muscular neck into well placed shoulders, elbows close to body. Slightly sloping topline and has strength over the loin. Good width of second thigh. He moved steadily with enough drive.

L
1 Taits Talintyre Fomhar Reiver. Super type, giving the impression of power, very pleasing to go over. Very balanced throughout. typical in head. Has an excellent front assembly with ample forechest, depth of chest and good spring of rib. Correct tailset and is long from hip to hock. Moved with a long powerful stride.
2 McDonalds & Westwoods Roanjora Cremant De Savoie avec Eusanit JW. Very well schooled young male who presents a striking outline. He just lacks that bit of maturity but time is certainly on his side. Excellent head with pleasing expression. Muscular neck flows into well placed shoulders. Good spring of rib. Liked his strength of topline, well angulated behind. Moved out well. Im sure his time will come.

1 Taits Sh Ch Talintyre Winter Shadow A very worthy Champion who gleamed with condition. Very typical in outline and so balanced. Pleasing head with domed skull, super eye and expression. He has super depth throughout, excellent spring of rib with correct topline. Moves with purpose and drive. Excellent, fit condition. Very close up for top honours
2 Wards Roanjora Cremant De Lux Copperwhite JW. Of good make and shape but just not the balance of 1. Masculine head, moderate arched neck. Well angulated front and rear and has a good spring of rib. Firm in topline and correct slope to croup.

1 Sheratt & Blackwell Sheratt Ch Alanea Holly Fern at Charnborough Sgwc. A super quality veteran. She has an athletic outline so typical of the breed. Quality head. Muscular neck into well laid shoulder. Forelegs straight with correct oval bone. Excellent spring of rib. She has depth throughout. In super condition which enabled her to move freely round the ring with a good stride.
2 Walkers Sh Ch Zendarric It's A Kind of Magic Within Wroxham JW. Built on slightly heavier lines but still maintains a good outline with balance. Pleasing head with good expression. Clean neck into good front assembly. Excellent depth of chest. Well made hindquarters. Moved out well.

1 Jakins Coolfin Baltic Turn The Page. Pleasing head proportions, well set ear. She has good quality bone and elbows were well under. Excellent spring of rib. Strong over the loin, level topline. Would like a touch more rear angulation and width. Moved well once settled.
2 O'Kelly & Hancock Coolfin The Ecstasy of Gold at Caradilis. Youngster who has a correct broad skull but was a little strong in foreface for me. Dark, round eye. Neck is well muscled, reasonable front assembly. Good bone. Has good depth of chest and ribs well back. Was very unsettled when stacked but moved out well.

OB A super quality class.
1 Gardners Sh Ch Charnborough Charisma of Danwish JW This bitch just oozes star quality. So well balanced throughout. Feminine but still has the athleticism that the breed requires. A quality head that is well proportioned with the sweetest expression, ears well set. Neck is strong and muscular. Well laid shoulders, correct tailset. Her rear quarters are wide and well muscled. Moves with purpose and drive with a long, easy stride. CC & BOB
2 Baynes Sh Ch Settersay Martell by Corranroo. Another super quality bitch that just lacked the maturity and finish of 1. Very feminine outline, she has quality bone and balance. Just preferred the finish in foreface of 1 but this is being picky. Neck is of good length and flows smoothly into a strong topline. Balanced angulation front and rear, super width of second thigh which was wide and well muscled. Loved her free flowing, easy movement. RCC 3 McDonalds Sh Ch Roanjora Crémant D'alsace JW
